super duper activity

so my ward had this super activity and we went up to some resivior i forget which but it was way fun but i tottally slacked on my picture taking responsbility. we also went boating and to do all the fun stuff in park city it was way fun sorry about the lack of pics. my fire fighter did come up each night though even though he couldnt stay for more then a couple of hours. he is so cute!

not nearly as good as the real thing or as cute but he does dress well

we had quite the adventure parking we had a boat on the back of the suburban and couldnt get it into a space we almost hit a couple of cars plus it was pouring rain so we all got soaked but in the end we had success!

so as many of you know i get the wonderful opportunity to watch my siblings kids when they go out of town. i absolutly love doing this cause i always get to have so much fun. my sister went to visit her hubby while he was working in atlanta and this is what i ended up doing with her six kids!(i had never really babysat all six before it was usually just the oldest four) one day we went to the discovery park to eat lunch then play an amazing game of hide and seek.

ok so lehi has what it calls foam days and they have huge blowup toys and lots of fun stuff then they have the fire department come and shoot massive amounts of foam on the kids it is crazy but it was free and a lot of fun

she was saving my firefighter a seat. he kept humming along with the score and then he would tell me the name of the song it was so cute. then he said i was like astrid a girl in the movie who is one tough chick and at one point she hits a boy and he was like "see just like you" then right after that she kissed the boy...he didnt comment on that:) he did however sit next to me on sunday when i brought all the kids to church with me we got some odd looks and after getting those looks from some friends he texted them and said "i have only cuddled and held her hand i dont know where these kids came from"

it was the 24 so i hosted a fireworks show for them

July 14, 1989 at 4:44pm i came into this world and on July 14, 2010 i turned 21. It was a very good birthday. i went out to dinner the night before and thats also when i opened presents. my firefighter was going to be gone for my birthday so like the month leading up to it i was trying not to mention it so that he wouldnt feel bad for missing it. however while i was at work my mom sent me a text saying that the most beautiful flowers had just arrived for me at the house. of course i made her open the card to see who they were from and low and behold they were from my firefighter. i was so surprised and completly thrilled. the card read "happy birthday ashly i hope you have one heck of a special day today i wish i could be there to personally wish you the best. your favorite (insert name here)" i was flying hi the rest of the day. it turns out that he ordered them on monday before he left for work. he is just the sweetest ever. later some of my friends took me out to frozen yogurt. i have the best friends ever! it was deffinetly one of the best birthdays ever

ok so update on this whole boy sittuation. (yes i am adding puctuation but i am not correcting my spelling that would take like an extra hour) so this boy got back from a campout (for work the travel and cut down trees when not on an actuall fire) and that first night he got home we went to dennys together along whith two of our friends who are dating. it was a lot of fun. our british waiter even defined bloody for us in very colorful words. we all had talked about going to the carnival the next day and so the next day he asked if i was going. i said i was and then asked where we all were meeting. he said, "oh i will come pick you up." so he picked me up on his motercycle and we met the same couple from the night before. it was a lot of fun eventhough we made the mistake of riding the space ship. that one always makes me a little sick. we then went back to my house and watched the village. he doesnt like scary movies, so it was even more fun then just watching a normal movie. the next day was the rodeo, and once again i got picked up by this boy. we had some friends in the wild cow milk and it was so much fun to watch them even though they did lose. then we went over to someones house and watched swatt. i expected him to hold my hand that night, and i think he would have if we hadnt both fell asleep. the next day was the parade. somehow he talked me into helping out in it. we handed out flyers for "pony your party". it was actually kinda fun. then the gang(there are two other couples that we hang out with cause we are all friends) made a plan to go boating. unfortunetly the boat was taking on water, so instead we decided to play water spoons at my house. we were just on the verge of starting an epic water fight when the boys got called out on a fire. that means that the were gone within two minutes. it was not fun at all. all of a sudden they on their way to fight a fire with no idea where or for how long. the only good thing was that as soon as he found out where we was going he called me to let me know where it was so sweet. he was gone for ten days, and luckily i was in az for five of those days. he got home on a tuesday night and wanted to hang out but i was already going to the midnight showing of eclipse with my niece, so we just had to wait a day. we ended up watching a movie with some friends. on friday we went up the canyon and had a campfire with our friends. then came the 3rd came. we started the day floating down the provo river. it was way fun except the time where i got caught by a branch, and got flipped under the water. i lost both shoes, but somehow managed to get both back. after that he asked me to go to his family bbq. it was not to bad, and i didnt do anything to embarass myself to bad. then we went to the fireworks at the jr high, where we got to see some people almost attaked by a tipped over firework. i was hoping that he would hold my hand, but was just about to give up hope when he finally took my hand. it was so sweet and in front of his entire family. after we went back to his house and lit thier fireworks. the entire night was just good and sweet and fun, and i am looking forward to more exciting weekends like this one.

so my az trip was so much fun just a week of me mom my sister and her cute kids the only down side was that i had just been called as the relief socity president so i was constently worried about how i will do and who my councilors should be i was also worried about a young man i know who was out fighting fires at the time but other then the worry the trip was amazing and i didnt even get sick

so in my last blog i made reference to getting distracted and now i will tell you what distracted me if you havent guessed yet its a boy but not just any boy this boy is a forest fire fighter about the height of daddy with hazel eyes a great build good hair and a killer laugh he is twenty five and is in school to be a civil engineer we is a rm and serverd in costa rica he is number eleven in a family of eleven and all his siblings names start with k now this boy has always been on my i would like to date list but it was only recently that i started to do something about it ok so think back to june 9 this was supposed to be a girls night but we got a text saying come to los hermonos to celebrate a friends birthday i didnt want to go but then they informed me that this boy would be there so of course i showed up and as luck would have it i ended up sitting next to him when they brought out my specialty drink(he didnt know i ordered it) he said wow that looks good and when they put it in front of me he freaked out and was like ITS YOURS he immedetly dove for straw before some friends were like are you even going to ask it was so funny anyways we just talked during dinner then the group made plans to go hottubbing and while there i made sure we were next to each other and we just kept on talking ok now skip to the 11 i was supposed to be going to summer summit a singels ward thing but i found out that no one was going so instead i got myself invited to hang out with this guy i had just cut and colored my hair and i was excited for him to see it and when i walked in he was like whoo then we went and watched a movie at another fire fighters housue and when we walked in he was like you cut your hair then i found out that the guy i like knew something was different but didnt know when till then that was funny too we drove with another girl but she got a ride from someone else so he took me home and we sat in his car and talked for like an hour and i convinced him to come to the next day of the summer summit so now its the 12 and we spent all day together i even convinced him to come the dance we danced twice and had so much fun it was a great day on the 13(sunday) a group came over and we watched monsters ink i was of course sitting next to this boy kinds leaning in hoping he would take my hand but he didnt instead put his arm around me and pulled me close it was soooooo good then he was gone on fire till yesterday so we texted at night and last night when he got home we went on our first real date just to dinner with another couple but on the way home he put his arm around me agian now i know that this might not work out and he might not the one but i am bound and determined to enjoy every moment of this time because it is fun so i will keep you updated and if you want more details just call and i will tell you oh by the way i have been smiling consantly since the thirteenth i think i am on cloud fifty seven

Cali Trip!

so i know i promised like forever ago that i would blog about this trip but i got distracted;) so i am doing it now it was such a fun trip we went may 19 till the 23 so wednesday to sunday it was me and five of my friends three girls and two boys one of the girls was able to get us a cheap rate on a hotel and then we found killer deals for disneyland and six flags the drive down was way fun i drove from home to st george and i did remarkably well i didnt kill anyone so thats good

this was a way fun ride though indian jones is still my favorite

Six Flags! i was looking forward to this day all trip long and then of corse the girls took so long getting ready that we didnt get there untill it had been open like two hours then had to wait for one of them to go to the bathroom for like a half an hour and then they all wanted to leave eary i was a littled annoyed but still had a whole lot of fun and the rides we did go on were so amazing

they ditched me on the tram and the woman i sat next to had the longest hair and it kept blowing on me it was gross

of course the girls are incapable of changing in the car so they decided to not pack the car till after church and when we got back to one of the girls uncles house where we stayed that night the door was locked and we couldnt get our stuff untill we could get the keys that delayed us half an hour man i am so not a typical girl

so as most of you know my oldest brother got me thinking about going back to school and i have come to the conclusion that i really do need a change though i am not sure what yet but right now i think i am going to apply to usu's masters program i want to go into history and they have the best program around well unless i want to move to az which would be like ten hours from most of my family but only like fourty five minutes from my super rad sister and her freaking adorable kids but az also has a lot of sun and i still havent found a good way to survive in the sun anyways i still need to take my ger's (its like the act's for graduate school) and i wouldnt be able to start untill next fall cause i have already missed the deadline for this fall but this is what i am thinking about right now just wanted to let you guys know so know one got blindsided if all of a sudden i anounce this:)

so one of my volleyball friends is going up to school and we decided to have a party for her it was lots of fun we played signs for like four hours and i didnt get home till one thirty but it was so worth it they guys i hang with are crazy which makes it so much more fun there are captions to all these photos on facebook and chell the salsa made me think of you cause it is gluten free oh and i didnt take any of the pictures i let the guys take my camera

so last night i went to the movies with some friends and we went and saw how to train your dragon in 3d it was so good and sooo funny i just went with my volleyball friends we all met at one persons house and then carpooled over there were four of us in the back seat which i know isnt safe but it sure is fun because someone had told us all the wrong time we ended up like an hour and a half early so we went and got food at five guys burgers and fries it was actually pretty good on of the guys in the group wanted to make sure we got good seats(even though it was a kids movie that started at nine fourty) so we went in a half an hour early and of course we were the first ones there so we had fun being as loud as possible and watching the guys try and balance on the railing it was so fun and the movie is really good i recomend you all go and see it

so today after work my friend asked me if i wanted to help him walk his dog well not so much as help as just walk besides him anyways i said yes and after mom froced him to come into the house(i made him bring his dog in also) we started on our walk it was a little cold but not really bad but then started the hail it started off small and we soon decided to turn around at which time the hail increaced a lot so we tried to walk home as quickly as possible it was quite the adventure and i am conviced if we were to have continued walking something bad like us getting mugged would have happeded to us so in a way the hail was a good thing

so yesterday i was lying on the couch and i had fallen asleep when all of a sudden my phone started to ring so of course i freaked out but it was my friend and he said that he had someone he wanted me to meet and he asked me when i was free this next week and i promptly told him any night but thursday well a little later i go over to the church to clean the building and for fhe well while cleaning the building my friend comes up and says that someone is coming to meet me in like fourty five minutes at which time i freaked out again because i couldnt leave the church in order to go make myself look cute(i was dressed for cleaning the church not for a first date) so fourty five minutes later this rather attractive guy walks in with my friend and he introduces us we played volleyball for awhile and then went over to my friends house to play boardgames we played battle of the sexes me and my friends girlfriend totally rocked the guys it was fun which is the only reason this said friend is not dead right now cause if this guy had been ugly or i had an awful time i wouldnt be so happy but this guy asked for my number so hopefuly i should be seeing more of this kid but i should just state for the record i do not like surprise blind dates

ok i just got an email saying i should get contacted within the week to set up my one on one interview with wells fargo which means i passed the first step and they didnt hate me what else i cant remember if i have written the fact that this boy now deffinetly has a girl friend and i am surviving its actually good i think cause now i get to have a guy friend i tell all my guy troubles too sherri by the way we were watching the first season of office so he had no reason not to like it such a dissapointment and debra i wouldnt mind going out with this kid sometime in the future im glad that you checked with your girls on his cuteness factor for me though lets see what else oh yeah it is officially warm enough for my alergy to the sun to kick in so if you ever see me in the sun feel free to ask if i have sun block on just in case i have forgotten

k first off sorry no photos but who takes pictures on a blind date that would just increase the weirdness i think anyways i had a friend set me up on this blind date and it wasnt to bad we went to nickelcity and of course having worked in an arcade for a year gave me a little of an advantage and i totally owned in racing and shooting hoops i love arcades after we went to this pizzaria and the food was good were were triple dating so there were two other couples so there were never any of those awkward silences and then we went over to one of the couples houses and watched the office it was an ok night but i dont think i will go out with him again we didnt have anything in commen and he doesnt think think the office is funny which like unheard of but it was nice to get out of the house

so last night i had a friend text me and invite me to his ward date night or something cause the girl he invited totally ditched him anyways they were making pies for the activity but there was a catch you had to pick a handicap from out of a bowl some people had their wrists tied together and others couldn't use their thumbs me and my friend were not allowed to use a table it was rather entertaining to watch the other couples after assemblying our amazing pies we put them in the oven and played a game while we waited i had never played this game and it was actually fun buy would be way to violent with our family each team had a line of water bottles on thier side and the object of the game was to knock down the other teams waterbottles with tennis balls it was way fun and my team won both times soon our pies were done and we were able to eat them and even though i do not much care for pie i was still a good sport and ate some all in all it was a fun night i even shot this cool vidio of some guy trying to eat an entire mini pie in one bite

so i had my group interview and i think it went ok there were eleven of us six boys and five girls and i believe i was the only one who had my degree so thats good but if i get this job it sounds like it will be a lot of fun it starts at ten dollars an hour but if i get over my sales goals i get bonuses and stuff so it sounds way fun now i just have to wait to see if i get a one on one interview so thats all going fine and dandy but the guy stuff is not going as good its ok though i think im ok with it the thing is i love this kid he is like the best older brother in the world and i guess while he was on his mission and i was always sisting alone at church and sitting at home on the weekends i started thinking about how i would love to date and marry such a great guy and i still think it would be great to date him but i kind of get the feeling that it wouldnt work out the way i wanted it two idk its hard to explain i guess i just know that im going to make it through this either way so right now im just going to be happy with my life cause its pretty good plus he has promised to set me up with his cute companions so thats good:)

so in light of my upcoming interview with wells fargo i decided i needed a new outfit i went to kohles because they always have cute dress clothes but there was like nothing i was kinda sad cause then i had to go to the mall i swear i walked around that entire place i even went into those stores i knew i couldnt afford just hoping to find something cute but professional but nothing i was getting so sick of trying stuff on i decided to go into head over heals a new store with surprisingly cute stuff and found like the perfect jacket plus just the cutest shirt to go under it then i went to forever young shoes but decided i really didnt need knew shoes since i would just be wearing slacks by chance i went into urben wear and found a super cute skirt and then of course i had to get shoes to go with my skirt so i got to go back to forever young and bought a very tall pair of heels that i absolutly love i think the whole outfit really makes me look older and of course professional look out wells fargo here i come ok i will add pictures when i wear the outfit tomorrow gosh impatient people

ok first off hello to those of you who just started reading my very interesting blog(amber) and i should tell you i dont ever use punctuation i think it adds character:) i also dont use spell check so half the words are probably spelt wrong anyways the point of this blog today is to tell of my exciting news... no i am not engaged yet but i do have a job interview for a teller position on thursday i am so excited cause that is really what i want to be doing with my life well i will update if anything happens with this job

so i have been getting a lot of grief from all my devoted readers because it has been a few short months since i last posted...ok more like ten months but give me a break i am a single college graduate who works for my parents i dont have a lot of exciting stuff going on still i guess it is time for an update most recent news is that MY MISSIONARY IS HOME... ok i should clarify technically he is not my missionary i dont own him but he is my best friend and he just got back from faithfuly serving the lord for two years in the utica ny mission oh and maybe he is more then just a friend cause maybe i have had like a huge crush on him since senior year (high school not college) but that is besides the point kinda anyway he just got back thursday and i went up and saw him but guess who was there.... his ex so here is the story with that they broke up before he left so she wouldnt be tied down and he could concentrate on his mish but they were still togetherish anyway about four or five months ago she started dating someone and her facebook status changed to in a relationship i was just moderetly happy about that so i was shocked to see her the other night at one point she was talking to a friend when trevor had left the room and her friend said does he know and she was like yeah he got the letter the day before he got home i had an idea of what the were talking about but i didnt want to believe it but lo and behold when i went home and checked facebook her status read single that made for like the worst night in history but i decided to ask the boy to go to the saturday session of conference with me anyway and even though everything that could go wrong did go wrong(like not getting there in time to acutally get into the confrence center and instead having to sit in the tabernacle on those really hard seats) it was still so good plus in the tabernacle there are not arm rests:) i do not plan on just giving his ex a red carpet straight to this boy i so plan on fighting on other news i have started playing volleyball twice a week with a bunch of people in the ward it is so much fun even though i am not that good and the guys steal the ball i am back working for my parents and is isnt that bad its kinda like watching paint dry except it hurts your hands i have also moved back in with my parents which sucks but it gave me a chance to save up some money and get them a really nice anniversary gift i just thought that after everything they have done for me and all the love they give me they deserved something nice plus my mommy needs a break from my grandma luckily my aunt sherrie is coming up to take care of her cause i wasnt looking forward to that though mother dearest you know i would have gladly done it for you well its late and i am trying to get rid of a cold so i am going to go to bed sorry for the lack of pictures but if anymore happens with this boy i will start adding pictures just for you kd oh and chell if you would like i wouldnt mind a new backround maybe something lighter to celebrate the coming of spring though you wouldnt know it by the snow on the ground i will try to be a more faithful blogger so dont give up on me you three:)

Animals at Work

so there seem to be a lot of critters associated with my work even though i work at a fun center and not a zoo i have already discussed the wonderful adventures of the snake but there have also been lizards fish sharks frogs and most recently mice ok let me start at the beginning it all starts with my predecessor and her sudden whim to add a fish tank to the office she thought that it would be a good idea so have something to entertain us during our meetings and it was a very good idea however she also thought gold fish would be good for the tank so she went to the pet store and picked out the three ugliest goldfish known to man they were big and funny looking and just not fun to stare at oh they were evil too i once got a fish to put in it and the gold fish named charly ate it well once i took over her position we got rid of the gold fish and went back to the pet store where we saw the coolest lizard it was just chillin

we ended up getting a frog which i named justin... justin case we forgot his name hee hee yea i know corny then came the snake and then this morning we get the mouse we have been having a problem with mice lately so we set up traps well this morning i was putting some things away and when i walked into the kitchen i was startled by this little critter (yes i even jumped backward in fright) after regaining control i put down my armload of stuff and grabbed a near by bucket i used much skill and cunning and the rest is history the poor little fellow died about fifteen minutes later and was given a very nice funeral or chucked on the freeway im not sure

Yard Selling!

so me and my sister have been trying to set up these movie nights for the past month and a half and it is supposed to be every wednesday but so far we have not done one because one of us always has something come up so instead i decided to accompany her on her rutine saturday yard selling and can i tell you it was so much fun besides the starting at seven on a saturday and the off and on rain but other then that it was so much fun first there is the thrill of driving up the road and seeing a sign and slamming on the breaks to see which way the arrow is pointing or flipping a quick u-turn because we just drove past one then there is the thrill of the hunt to see if there is anything that you would consider buying the disappointment when you dont find anything or the excitement of finding something amazing and then the rush that comes when you negotiate for a lower price i got some really cool stuff and now am rather addicted to yard sales its fun and saves you money its like the best of both worlds random afterthought that has absolutely nothing to do with yard selling i stopped by work tonight and it tuns out that our huge breaker box blew up and we had no power to our main building so we are attempting to run the business out of our track office it is actually kind of cool

Talk about a Monday

so most of us hate mondays right well i have the monday to school all mondays i forced my self out of bed just like usual and got ready for work on the way to work i was blaring my radio and decided that today was going to be a good day regardless of the fact that it was monday now when i got to work i started my usual monday routine which consists of collecting the past weeks cleaning lists and print new ones well we have been having some issues with getting our cleaning lists done and in turn the park has not been looking as good and it frustrates me when the daily cleaning lists dont even get done and today was no different at least half of the lists were not even close to being done that alone shot my will to have a good monday in the foot but it only got better from there (and yes that was dripping with sarcasm) i then got a call from mellisa from blackjacks saying that the freezer full of dippin dots that we had just sold her was not working and that all the dippin dots were melting luckily our food and beverage manager was there so i passed this one on to her but i was just thinking about how much product we would have to refund her what a head ache i decided to start cash control but when i got ready i couldn't get the safe open several curse words ran through my head at that time because if i couldn't get the safe open we could not run the business so after about fifteen minutes of trying absolutely everything i could think of i called my boss and asked if there was a trick i was missing he asked if the handle was pulled all the way up i kind of laughed at him because i was thinking im not that stupid but i decided to try and low and behold it worked so yea then i felt rather stupid at that time amanda (the above mentioned food and beverage manager) came in and told me the indoor course was flooded and sure enough it was water came up to the middle of my calf (yes i know that isn't that deep considering my height) it turns out that the pond was being filled on saturday and somebody forgot to turn it off saturday night so it was running all sunday so after i waded over to the spigot i turned it off and then called our facility manager to inform him that we now had an indoor swimming pool at which time amanda came up to me and told me that the fridge/freezer in which we keep all our snack bar food had been turned off all weekend and that all the food in it was spoiled that is so what i wanted to hear so we threw all of that away and i once again began working on cash control when amanda came and told me that there was a snake in the offices yea you read me right a snake and the worst part was that we couldnt catch it so there i was on my hands and knees trying to capture and snake and just when we got him cornered can you guess what he did he crawled into a flippin computer yea right up into it we had to take the computer apart and stick it into a box and wait for it to come out well i guess it got scared because soon my entire office smelled like snake pee it was the perfect end to a rather random crazy insane monday morning

so this last weekend i got the oportunity to babysit my third oldest sisters four oldest chilren when i got to they had posted all these signs on the door saying welcome ashley is was so sweet it also turned out to be the the second oldest childs (a boy) birthday on saturday so we got all ready and headed out to trafalga it was the cheapest way i knew how to give him a really fun birthday of course we let him make every decision down to who would sit where in the car when we got to trafalga we started with the xd theater and then off to mini golf we were having the grand re-opening of our batting cages at trafalga so we had the owls (a baseball team) mascott hoots come out and while talking to my sister on the phone he came up to us and stole my phone and hung up on my sister this was afer he kicked my ball so i would have a very bad shot while golfing the oldest (a girl) whose golfing name was tiger woods was the only one to get a hole in one unfortunetly that was her only tiger like moment and she ended up in third after golfing (i came in first of course) we did another xd ride in which hoots the owl snuck in in the middle and scared the crap out of me we then went to do the go-karts the birthday boy was not tall enough to ride but i pulled a couple strings and got him on so i drove the youngest (girl) the oldest drove her younger brother and the birthday boy dove his own pink car the pictures while in the go-karts were not easy to take but a lot of fun to try once go-karts were done (i won of course) we got some food yummy hot dogs and chips and soda and tummy yummies which are a kids drink we were giving away for free that day mainly it is jut very surgary water then we did the batting cages

i had never done them before and was surprised that i wasnt half bad at that time

hoots the owl came back and stole my camera charming creature then we went over to mix 107.9's booth they were doing a remote and were give stuff away we played a been bag toss (i won of course) we all got cds i got taylor swift and the second youngest (boy) got pink it was so funny we then went inside and rode the xd again after we played in the arcade and then the xd one last time we then went outside to leave and found it pouring rain this was like walk outside for less then a second and be soaked to the bone type of rain it was so cool and this was after golfing driving and batting in the sunshine well when we got home i made a cake for the birthday boy we ran out of icing to i had to use pink on half of his name he called his parents while opening his present then he tried to blow out his candels it was so funny cause i put trick candels on so he would blow one out then another would pop on after that i had to pick my sister up from the airport and of course i got pulled over on the way over going 70 in a 50 and of course i didnt get a ticket the next day i amazingly got four kids ready and out the door by eight in order to be at my parents ward by nine (an hour early for stake conference) my dad got called as steak president the poor guy he was just a bishop and he really wants to go on a mission but i know he will be great because that is just what type of guy he is me and my sisters played board games that night and then me and the kids made the long trip home (30 minutes is long when you are tired and want to go to bed) it was a fun weekend i love babysitting those kids we always have fun my only regret is that we didnt get to play hide n' seek in the dark

A Typical Day

my stupid alarm goes off at six thirty that was origanly set so i could get up and run but it doesnt work so after i turn the annoying thing off (cause for some reason i am impossibe of using snooze) i roll over and fall back to sleep for another half and hour untill my phone starts singing at me then i roll out of bed to start my day after i get all clean and dressed i debate my options for breakfast(cereal, bagles, or mcdonalds) or if i even want to eat that day after that i brush my teath and head off to work i like getting there early because then i am all alone and i get to listen to my music as loud as i want at work i start making task lists for all the employees to work on during the day way fun i know all the time i am answering the phone a million times because people will take the time to look up our number on the web but some how miss the huge section that gives them the hours we are open then i usually have some bigger projects to take care of and then the fun starts my boss shows up we usually have meetings about maketing or in house things or the employees i like to take time to clean things because we have this huge cleaning inspection that i do at five on a school day i take off from work and head to school where i stay to at least 8:30 but on most days it is about 9:30 when i get out if i dont have school and i dont have to meet with my school group i usually stay at work till like 10 my roommates dont even know someone else is living with them because i leave so early and get back so late but once home i find something random to eat read my scriptures then turn on the second half of pride and predjudice and fall asleep i love my life it is so jam packed that i have no idea what i am going to do once school is done i might actually get a social life...oh no!

Seven Peaks

so one of the benifits of working at trafalga is that i get a free season pass to seven peaks because they are owned by the same person i also get two free day passes with each pay check so this last saturday i was extremely bored and did not want to work on homework so i decided to go to seven peaks the only glitch is that i had no one to go with and its not one of those places that you go alone cause then you end up looking like a loser and like most people i try to avoid that my first thought was to go with my brother but he was doing some extreme scout challenge so then i called a friend to see if she was in town for the weekend but alas she was not then my thoughts turned to my neice of thirteen she is taller then i am and i like hanging out with her so i tried calling my sister to see if her daughter was available (she is a teenager so she has issues with staying off of restriction) i could not get a hold of my sister so i had my other sister go over there to see what the deal was well it turns out she was mowing her lawn it turned out that my neice already had plans with one of her plans but she canceled them to hang out with me actually she just wanted to go to seven peaks because she had never gone before but i like to say she came jsut for me two of her younger sisters also had passes to the water park due to being excelent readers while at school so the four of us started off for the park we did stop by the gas station becuse my gas light had been on for the last two days then we stopped by wally world to get some lunchables while there we were offered free samples of some healthy yougurt bar or something but we used the the little cups they came in as little hats my neices had some issues keeping them on there head well we picked up our lunchables mine was pizza sarahs (the oldest) was crackers sandwithces so was her sisters katy's ellies the youngest got nachos we decided to eat them on the way to the park because they do not let you bring food in it is quite difficult to make and eat pizza while trying to drive a car on the freeway so i made sarah make it for me when we finnally got to the park and layed all of our stuff out and got all sun screened we were all ready to start the fun we started by doing all the tube rides it was perfect we never really had to wait in any lines which was strange since it was a saturday after the tube rides we did this one slide where we race each other then sarah and i decided to do the high slides there are three of them the first is just sort of bumpy so we did that one first then we went up to do the scary ones you just drop straight down we got to the slide and sarah was like i am so not going and i was like yea you are and she was like heck no and i was like come on you got to try anyway we went on for like five minutes then i was like ok ill just go then i was kind of sad that she wasnt going cause i knew she would have fun but when i got to the bottomand looked back up i saw her standing there so i waved for her to come down and to my great surprise i saw her jump up on the slide and come on down i was so proud but im not going to lie when she came off the top her arms and legs came apart and it scared the crap out of me but she was fine and had fun so we went back up and did the last slide the one that scares me the most because you start in a tunnle and then you drop out of it going straight down but we both did it and yes these slides give you major wedgies but it was fun i was so proud of my thirteen year old neice for doing something my sixteen year old neice couldnt dot the year before after that we did all the tube rides again went to the wave pool and the lazy river and just everthing well when we were all tired we were on our way out of the park when i saw a sign for funnel cake and of course i had to stop and get some it was a really fun day

so i totally went running yesterday i was supposed to be doing homework but i couldn't concentrate so i dusted off my running shoes and went to the gym at my clubhouse (have i said yet how much i love my new place) i ran a mile in just over ten minutes which is ok i guess since i haven't really run since my sophmore year in high school (four years ago) and it felt good we actually it hurt a lot and i thought i was going to die but if any of you are runners out there you know how good that feels i also went to go running this morning but when i got there all the tredmills were being used so i had to use the random stepper thing which is so not like running and because i was rather sore from the day before i was only able to to a mile (this time in just over eleven minutes) hopefully as i get more in shape i will be able to go farther in fact i better be able to go farther because i have to run a marathon next year oi why did i ever agree to that it should be good for me though i actually woke up at six thirty this morning to go running i think i shocked myself when i actually rolled out of bed it was so not easy but the first days the hardest right?

The New Place

so on the twenty third i moved apartments and i love my new place my old apartment had six girls two bathrooms and no kitchen space and i shared a room that is smaller then my office at work this new place is a town house where i get my own room and bathroom

and it has a great kitchen i love it so much i only have three roommates and they are work a holics just like me so no one is ever home which is kind sad but the truth i think this is going to be a great place to live there is a pool and a club house with a gym so i can start training for that marathon

oi vay money! i always seem to have a lot extra when i add up all my bills in my head but when it comes to the end of the month i am always looking for extra money somewhere this usually means that i end up not paying my parents the money i owe luckily they dont usually bring it up now that is either they are the sweetest parents ever or they just dont remember that i owe them money any way the point of this post is to commit myself to stick to my budget hopefully if i put it in writing i will be better resolved to work on this:) the hardest part of this whole thing is that i want to take a trip to see my sister but i have to work in the cost of not working for a week which i never really had to do cause i never really paid for my life before its ok though this is just another challenge to make my life more interesting because it was becoming so dull:) another thing i am doing to make my life interesting is painting my fingernails black no im not going goth or emo i just like black nail polish it is way easier then trying to tip them and it kind of looks cool another plus is that it kind of freaks out my mom which make me laugh sorry mom im not intentionally trying to give you a heart attack i promise anyways i would challenge everyone(girls guys just shouldnt) to try wearing black nail polish at least once its fun

so i have been on a wicked kick for some reason and its really weird because i have never seen it and dont even really know what its about so i downloaded the soundtrack(for some reason it was missing track 11) and i have been listening to it all day i think i am on my fourth time through and i am still no where near understanding what in the world this musical is about oh well i like the music and drives all the guys that i work with insain so im ok with it

so i am taking these two classes for my degree they are the most boring classes in the entire world i guess it wouldn't be so bad if they were not so long one is two hours and the other is three hours this is after eight hours at work so it is kind of draining it should give me plenty of time to update my blog right? these classes are all about learning how to run a company and we are actually running a fake company which is kind of cool but at the same time we put so much time and effort into it and then you step back and think its all fake i didn't change anything for real and then it is depressing but its the price to pay for never having to go to school again if i dont want to:) ok well i have to go and make decisions for my pretend company again oh one more thing i might be a college graduate but i cant spell worth beans so this thing might be full of mistakes

My Life at the Moment

ok i am nineteen years old (i will be twenty this july) i recently walked in my college graduation i still have to finish my capstone stone classes (which are going to be like the hardest classes ever) but once those are done i will have earned my bachelors degree in business management i am currently working at trafalga fun center in orem utah it is a miniature golf place i am the office manager there or in other words i am second in command i love it there i always have so much fun because my boss is a nut and always makes it fun i live here in orem and am in the middle of switching places i am moving from a tiny little apartment with five other girls (only two of which know english and one of those is deaf) to a town house with only three other girls it is so nice and i am so excited for it a little more about me is that i am the ninth of ten children only my younger(i cant say little because he is like a foot taller then i am) still lives with my parents over in Pleasant Grove i am the shortest of the family only reaching four feet and eleven inches and some of my twenty eight nieces and nephews are already starting to pass me up i love my family especially my sisters yes that includes my sisters-in-law who are super cool themselves as for my love life right now there isn't one im just trying to get through school and stuff so maybe when i have more free time i will start worrying about boys well thats if for right now i guess
